Attention all Band parents we encourage you to please join as a member of LMS Band Booster Club.  LMSBBC is an essential part of the Music Program at LMS.Donations collected from membership and other sources help fund elements of the program that are not funded by LAUSD.  This year, the LMSBBC is asking for your donation of $65.00 per family. This will not pay for everything needed for the school year. But, it does help pay for the following:

• A Band T-shirt

• Your Student’s Classroom Music Book

• Helps fund transportation to and from events.

• Provides for specialized professionals that assist in the classroom.

• Gives you voting rights at the BBC meetings.

 We understand that this donation may be costly for some families. Therefore, we are offering you the ability to sell coffee instead. Through “We Care Coffee” we ask that you sell a minimum of $130.00 in order for LMS to make $65.00. Information packages will be going home with each student on September 8, 2008.

 Deadline for all donations are due September 23, 2008.

 Please make checks payable to LMSBBC and include your child’s name, grade, and music period on the front of the check.

 Remember that all donations are tax deductible!

 Please note that the Band Booster Club’s first meeting will be held September 18, 2008 at 6:30 pm in the MPR. Please come and hear about all the exciting events planned for your child this year!
